Mr .Brendan Eich, the newly appointed C.E.O of Mozilla , has donated some money for a campaign that suggests to ban gay marriage in the western US state. This issue has been revealed when the fundraisers have listed Mr.Eich’s name as one of the donators on their web site .

Mozilla’s employee Christie Koehler, who is a gay, heads the Education section has expressed her views on her blog post.
“Like a lot of people, I was disappointed when I found out that Brendan had donated to the anti-marriage equality Prop. 8 campaign in California. It’s hard for me to think of a scenario where someone could donate to that campaign without feeling that queer folks are less deserving of basic rights. It frustrates me when people use their economic power to further enshrine and institutionalize discrimination “
“I am committed to ensuring that Mozilla is, and will remain, a place that includes and supports everyone, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, age, race, ethnicity, economic status, or religion,”
Mozilla stated to BBC ,that the have not been contacted by Okcupid to clarify the issue and Mozilla’s stand .Mozilla states “Mozilla supports equality for all, including marriage equality for LGBT couples.”
